On July 4, 2025, floodwaters devastated Kerrville and the surrounding areas of Kerr County, Texas, causing destruction that is hard to put into words. Entire communities were uprooted within hours. RV parks were destroyed, and families lost their homes, vehicles, and possessions.
Tragically, more than 130 lives have been confirmed lost, and many more are still missing. This is an ongoing disaster, while the full extent of its impact is still unfolding.
Thanks to your support, we were able to act quickly, which made a significant difference.
In the Heart of the Flood Zone: Stories from the Ground
In just a matter of days, members of The Y’all Squad found themselves deeply immersed in the heart of Central Texas. We navigated through treacherous, washed-out roads, where the remnants of once-peaceful neighborhoods lay in disarray.
As we walked through the wreckage, we listened intently to the heart-wrenching stories of resilience and loss that will be etched in our memories for years to come.

New Keys, New Beginnings: Rebuilding Lives After the Storm
This deployment focused on assisting three families who lost everything when their RV parks were destroyed by the flood. Their homes were completely wiped out, leaving them without shelter or basic stability. One of the individuals affected is a U.S. military veteran.
Each family received $30,000 in direct aid from the Y’all Squad. These funds were used to purchase new RVs, providing a critical step toward regaining secure housing and starting the recovery process.

The Mission Grows: Delivering Relief to Menard County
While in Texas, we received heart breaking news from a small rural town named Menard. Flash flooding had caused significant damage to homes and displaced many families in this area. The local support networks were doing their best to help, but they were running low on resources and stretched thin.
The Y’all Squad partnered with the Menard Mission to deliver nearly $3,000 worth of essential equipment, including dehumidifiers and box fans. These tools play a crucial role in the early stages of recovery, helping dry out homes and prevent dangerous mold growth in the critical days after the floodwaters receded. This equipment will continue to be utilized to support future natural disasters.

Turning Donations Into Actions
We often emphasize the importance of showing up early and staying late. This deployment served as a powerful reminder of why that commitment matters. We’re thrilled to share that, thanks to your incredible support, we’ve delivered over $100,000 in direct community aid across Central Texas! Every dollar you contributed went right to work. From funding RVs, equipment, to temporary housing, and reaching the communities that needed help the most. This was not just aid; it was a heartfelt connection made face-to-face, bringing real relief right where it was needed.
